Joining a gym can be the perfect way to get or stay fit, but it also can be costly, boring and time consuming, depending on how close you live to your hometown gym. Many towns offer recreational leagues for everything from softball to basketball, offering a really fun way to get and stay in shape while making new friends and satisfying the competitive streak in you. Meal prepping on the weekends will help you eat healthier throughout the week and not keep you from being tempted to eat those sugary treats in the breakroom or visit your favorite fried food restaurant during your lunch break.
